Preparation Tips

Before adding wood to your aquarium:

• Boil driftwood to sterilize and remove debris
• Helps eliminate algae or fungal spores
• Helps release tannins
• Speeds up sinking by waterlogging the wood

Before adding the stones to your aquarium:

• Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
• Scrub gently if needed to remove any natural dust or debris.
• Never place hot stones directly into an aquarium with livestock.

Aquascaping Tips

For extra stability:

• Super glue wood to wood or wood to stone using aquarium-safe cyanoacrylate glue.
• Attaching the wood to stones also helps keep the driftwood submerged while it naturally becomes waterlogged.
